Supplements Furious Stylez athletes use for training, recovery, and performance support are listed here with notes on our routines.
You’ll notice many of them are the Nutricost brand, which we’ve found to be both inexpensive and high quality. There’s no need to pay double the price for half the amount of servings just to have a more popular brand name. This sport is expensive enough as it is! Amazon routinely offers the items on sale, as well.

Daily Supplements

- Fills any potential nutritional gaps regarding vitamins & minerals with as much training as we do

Pre-Workout Supplements
Our pre-workout shake consists of the following, which we mix into a bottle of water:
- Nutricost EAAs – 1 scoop
- Nutricost Pre-Workout – 1 scoop
Post-Workout Supplements
Our post-workout routine consists of two shakes: 1) carb/creatine shake & 2) protein shake. The first shake is taken within 15 minutes of finishing lifting, with the carbohydrates inducing a natural insulin spike in about 15 minutes. We take advantage of this insulin spike by then drinking our protein shake, permitting the insulin to efficiently transport the protein to the muscle cells immediately to invoke protein synthesis & recovery.
- Nutricost Dextrose – 2 scoops per shake
- Nutricost Maltodextrin – 2 scoops per shake
- Nutricost Creatine – 2 scoops per shake
- Nutricost Whey Protein Isolate – 1.5 scoops per shake
- We prefer the whey isolate, as opposed to concentrate or a blend, due to its higher protein content per serving and easier digestion
